Although there is a definite trail which is comprehensive
and challenging, Oliver tends to test the group with
what seems to be "off the beaten track"
adventures. There is no obligation to test your vehicle
or yourself, but if you'd like to calculate the risk
and plot the course, you will be pleasantly surprised
by the abundance of adrenaline you can generate by
this experience. The track is only about 13km long
and takes the best part of the day to complete. There
are dongas, water holes, mud pits, rocky mountain
climbs, sand, mounds, river beds and articulation
testers escape or alternate routes available for most
sections. With experienced 4x4 drivers in your group,
you''lle be able to conquer all the sections. Quads
welcome by prior arrangement only.
( Remind me to tell you the story about "die
Engelsman is weg." )
Having a swim and a beer along the way is not frowned
apon. We like to think of it as a fun route for the
whole family.
4x4s with lady passengers generally last longer.
